We present SOAR: Self-Occluded Avatar Recovery from a Single Video. We recover human avatars from self-occluded internet videos where people only show parts or sides of their body.

In this project, I explored the Fourier Transform, Gaussian and Laplacian Stacks, and multiresolution blending. I made some interesting results by applying the techniques I learned to some images of my own captured images and even professors.

In this project, I engaged with the digitized Prokudin-Gorskii glass plate images, with the aim of leveraging image processing techniques to autonomously produce a color image with the least visual discrepancies.
